DIY GIFT IDEAS

The idea of "DIY gifts" sometimes gives me the image of pre-school macaroni-decorated picture frames or baskets of christmas cookies decorated with too many sprinkles in all colors of the rainbow. But homemade gift giving can be quite sophisticated, too. And it's a lovely way to show someone that you care about them. I've searched the web for ideas and instructions for DIY christmas gift and found some true beauties that are easy to make. Here are a few of my favorites:

DIY Jewelry: from the new Sweet Paul Magazine. 10 gorgeous ideas and instructions for making necklaces, bracelets, corsages and headbands.

DIY Cup cozies: by Urban Comfort. More ideas and a link to the instructions can be found right here on her blog.

Handmade felt slippers: Sewing instructions by Martha Stewart

No-sew pencil roll: by Small + Friendly

3 awesome DIY gift baskets filled with handmade and store-bought items on Sunset.

And if these don't strike your fancy, check out this huge DIY gift link round-up on Squidoo. You'll find crafty projects, food gift ideas and a lot more.

Or browse these ideas on Tip Junkie. They've broken it down into handy categories from gifts for her, for him, for pets and grandparents to gifts by price.

  3. Nice blog! Sometimes, we've got to get creative with our Christmas gift ideas. And honestly, when you start to think about getting someone a gift for $10, it actually becomes quite fun. It's a challenge that forces you to think about what the other person really likes.

  4. Hello,A homemade gift is constantly superior to something you can purchase at the store!Particularly for somebody who has everything or is difficult to purchase for.Regardless of the fact that its something as basic as personalizing an coffee mug, monogramming a casserole dish, or making a fun confection bunch! The greater part of these DIY gift plans are moderately simple and is possible a minute ago, while a couple of may take a tad bit of arranging, however they are all basic enough for pretty much anybody to do (no crocheting or sewing here).:)

  5. Hello, I love DIY gifts.I found incredible thoughts as a sly individual. The book is elegantly composed and its not difficult to peruse. I especially preferred the thoughts for cell phones and tablets. The creator gives simple instructions to make inexpensive naively constructed Diy blessings. This book will spare you a ton of cash on DIY endowments. I exceedingly recommend you to purchase this book. Happy New Year!
