SANTA'S LITTLE HELPERS // JOULUPUKIN PIENET APULAISET

Today we're elves! We're wrapping up some gifts for little ones that we bought a while back already. Later we'll bring them to the "Joulupuu" collection at Forum in Helsinki. Joulupuu collects gifts for children in Helsinki's social system - children that might otherwise not get any gifts for christmas. At the moment there are 8500 kids and youngsters in the system and last year people donated a total of 7500 gifts.

So, peeps, you know we don't ask favors from you often. But now we do: while you're doing your christmas shopping, be on the lookout for some little gifts, wrap them up pretty, and bring them to the collection spot in Forum by 19.12. Let's make sure that there will be at least 8500 gifts this year!
Before you buy something, check the foundation's website or facebook page - they will give updates of the kinds of presents they're still missing.

Tänään me olimme tonttuja! Muutaman kuvausprokkiksen keskellä käärimme lahjoja, jotka olimme ostaneet jo jokin aika sitten. Viemme lahjat "Joulupuu" keräykseen Helsingin Forumiin. Joulupuu kerää lahjoja Helsingin lastensuojelupiirin lapsille, jotka muutoin saattaisivat jäädä ilman joululahjoja. Tällä hetkellä lastensuojelupiirissä on 8500 lasta ja viime vuonna lahjoja kerättiin yhteensä 7500 kpl.

Joten, ystävät, harvoin pyydämme teiltä mitään, mutta nyt me pyydämme. Kun olette jouuostoksilla, viekää kauniisti kääräisty paketti myös Forumin keräyspisteelle viimeistään 19.12. Lahjan ei tietenkään tarvitse olla uusi, vaan se voi olla myös hyvänä pidetty, vanha lelu. Pidetään huolta, että tänä vuonna keräyksellä saadaan ainakin 8500 lahjaa ja jokainen lapsi saa omansa. Ennen kuin viet lahjan, kurkkaa järjestön nettisivut tai Facebook-sivu – sieltä löydät vinkkejä millaisia lahjoja puuttuu vielä.

Spread joy for christmas and give your friends and family who already have "everything" one of these gifts. A meal for an entire african village for 23€, a goat for a poor family in Africa for 30€, a meal for 1000 kids for 150€ and much more.
