A VALENTINE'S DINNER IN BRIGHT YELLOW AND CORAL

It's almost February, which means that it's almost Valentine's day. We're kicking off our inspiration series with our very own shoot in bright coral and yellow combined with a lot of white. We wanted to create a simple, easy-to-copy table setting with an urban or industrial, fresh touch.

We decided to mix traditional valentine's elements - cherubs, hearts and flowers - with cable binders /zip ties and lots of spray paint to create a slightly kitschy, sweet and a little bit edgy-urban valentine's dinner table scape. We kinda love the turnout. It's cute and pretty, a little bit over the top (but in a fun way) and super-simple.  Oh, and we shot this baby in our new studio. Doesn't it make a pretty background to this setting?

A big thanks to Melina and Lari, our models for the day. We had so much fun with them. Wouldn't they make a cute couple?

[On meilkein helmikuu, mikä tarkoittaa sitä, että on melkein ystävänpäivä. Aloitamme ystävänpäivä inspiraatiosarjan omilla kuvauksillamme; kirkasta korallia ja keltaista yhdistettynä valkoiseen maailmaan. Halusimme luoda helpon pöytäasetelman, jonka jokaisen on helppo kopioida. Lähtökohtana oli urbaanit ja hieman teolliset elementit raikkaalla otteella.

Päätimme sekoittaa perinteisiä ystävänpäivän elementtejä kuten koriste-enkeleitä, sydämiä ja kukkia nippusiteisiin ja spraymaaliin. Loimme kitsahtavan, söpön ja hieman nähdystä poikkeavan, urbaanin kokonaisuuden. Lopputuloksesta tuli mielestämme ihana. Se on hurmaava, hieman yliampuva, mutta hauskalla tavalla -ja super helposti! Kuvasimme kokonaisuuden uudessa studiossamme, mitä pidätte ympäristöstä?
